In this paper the datum of the classical least squares adjustment of indirect observations and the adjustment with rank-detects of free networks is introdueed. According to the mentioned, the plaetical application of the adjustment with rank-defects of free networks is further discussed.
COMTOOL 1-2-3 is a communication tool for IBM-PC, Apple Ⅱ and PC-1500 computers developed in July, 1985. It can transfer program (BASIC, PASCAL, FORTRAN, DBASE etc.) files and data files from one to another among the three kinds of computers. Apart from this PC-1500 and Apple Ⅱ can be turned into the intelligent terminals and data collecters of IBM-PC. The present paper presents the implementation and applications of the above mentioned software.
From scalar diffraction theory as well as certain physical concepts, we directly derive the imaging position formulae of one-step rainbow holography. According to the condition of observing reconstructed image, more complete table of imaging position relationships is deduced from theory. And part of the imaging position relationships selected from the table are demonstrated by experiment.
This paper outlines an undertaking to introduce some structure to the drainage network data held by TIS, by the development of "rationalisation" and stream ordering software. As well as giving hydrographic and geographic benefits, the work cartographically facilitates the creation of computer generalised map products at a variety of scales, based on logical links in the restructured datasets. This aspect is illustrated from an area of S. W. England.
This paper expounds and proves the principle of Earth Survey by satellite cameras with the emphasis on the method of locating the direction of the joint line for the connection between the satellite and the ground target. In addition, it deduces a variety of formulas for processing the data involved in the photographs taken by both starcameras and earth-cameras. At last, it gives a rough estimate for the accuracy of the method.
This paper presents experiments and analysis of the influence of the industrial development in Hanyang (part of Wuhan City) on its landscape and resources for tourism made by employing the multidate remote sensed image analysing techniques. The results show that with the rapid development of industry, the quality of the area's landscape and resources for tourism is declining day by day. As the region's natural beauty is fading, the area of its scenic spot is greatly narrowing. The tourist environment of Hanyang, which boasted is clear landscape and luxuriant greenery, is steadily deteriorating. For developing as well as saving the district's draining tourist resources, concrete measures geared to the present situation must be taken. Only by so doing can a modern environment for tourism be created.
The Fresnel integral is a particular function in physical optics, especially in the application of the theory of diffraction, such as the diffraction of light, microwave technique, antenna, etc. The Fresnel integral may be calculated in the series which has positive powers when the variable is smaller or negative powers when the variable is greater. In this article a new calculated formula, which is simple and strict, is proposed. The article deals with. (1) the expressions of Fresnel integral used in a series which has a changeable ratio when u≤u_1; (2) the expressions used in trigonometric function when uu_1 (3) the determination of the optimal demarcating point u_1; (4) flow process diagrams; (5) the examination of the confidence of formulas, etc.
The application of geomorphology to the study of river terraces is one of the most effective ways to search for the invisible active faults in plains. This paper analyzes the cross-section and facies maps drawn on the basis of the data from the survey of the terraces of Yu River, Shill River, Emaokou River, and Dayu River as well as the drilling data, proving the existence of two invisible faults (NE) and an active horst formed under their control.
During the experiment on mechanics of materials, a problem of solid circular shaft in torsion testing for large deformation remains unsolved. The following formula for torsional shearing stress at a point on the suface of a shaft is derived by the author. That is τ=1/(2πR3)(3Mn+φ(dMn)/(dφ))-(Mnφ2)/(πR(l2+R2φ2)) The applied torque and corresponding angle of twist are measured by a torsion-testing machine, and the data are eventually calculated by a computer. So, the complete shearing strew-shearing strain diagram may be drawn.
This article discusses the relations between randomness and the statistic law by analyzing three types of random samples. After further discussing the relations between systems and the statistic law, systematic structures and distributive laws, it points out the matters needing attention concerning the application of the statistic law to practice.
The general expression of variance-covariance propagation for a nonlinear function is derived. By simplifying it, the corresponding formulas with Order Ⅰ and Order Ⅱ are obtained. The formula with Order Ⅱ presented by H. Wolf is proved to be an approximation of the above formula.
