Nonhomogeneity of the Crust from Ms 7.9 Manyi(Tibet) Earthquake with InSAR Observation

Abstract
Based on InSAR measurements,considering the horizontal nonhomogeneity of crust of the south and north sides of fault,3D semi-analytical visco-elastic body force model and genetic algorithm(GA) are employed to invert the location of the co-seismic fault,slip distributions and the crust medium parameters(poisson ratio) with more realistic fault geometry.The model fits better than the half-space elastic model and can excellently explain the asymmetry with respect to the fault.The result shows that the earthquakes occurred in a region with obvious horizontal nonhomogeneity of crust.
