  • The GVMI index model is studied using the MODIS data to get the EWT(equivalent water thickness) index which expressed the water content of vegetation,and the correlation between water content of vegetation and state of drought with temperature and rainfall data reported by CMA is verified(China Meteorological Administration).This proved that the GVMI modal and MODIS data can be used to monitoring the drought in the region of China.
