  • Correlated errors exist in GRACE coefficients were analyzed thoroughly based on GRACE level-2 RL04 version time variabel gravity data. The strategy of correlated error filter was determined and its effect was evaluated quantitatively by combining JASON-1 altimeter data and WOA05 ocean model. The comparison shows that the filter reduces the correlated errors effectly and greatly improves GRACE's capacity in recovering the short wavelength components of earth surface mass variations.
