Theory Discussion of Statistic Symbol Library Designing Based on Object-oriented Method

Statistic symbol library designing and realizing are very difficult, which hedges the software development and implementation of statistic cartography. Firstly the old methods and their disadvantage in statistic symbol library designing are retraced and reviewed. Secondly, a new method of statistic symbol library designing based on object-oriented theory is presented. Lastly several difficult parts and their solutions are given.
