Abstract
In this paper a mathematical model for the vertical refraction correction of laser collimation system is derived.The refraction coefficients involved in the model can be calculated by precise levelling results,which is very useful when precise observations of temperature gradient are not available.The application of this method to Beijing Electron Positron Collider(BEPC) project is discussed.
