  • Following a brief introduction to their principles, persistent scatterers(PS) and small baseline(SBAS) InSAR techniques are employed to map surface movements in the Panjin city,China. It is demonstrated that both advanced InSAR techniques provided comparable mean velocity maps and deformation time series, and suggested the new city centre of Panjin exhibited surface subsidence with a mean velocity of up to 20 mm/a during the period between 2003 and 2006.
