  • Combining the characteristics of urban spatial heterogeneity,we put forward an urban CA model with considering the distance of obstacle space and regional disparity.Taking the central city of Wuhan as an example, the cellular space is divided into several regions according to different forms and function ways of urban land, and then establishes different conversion rules on the basis of accurate measurement of obstacle space. The case study reveals that the urban CA model with considering the distance of obstacle space and regional disparity has the capacity of simulating expansion process of urban more truly as a result of the reliable results.
