  • In this paper,an algorithm based on the geomagnetic co-occurrence matrix is given to select the adaptable matching areas. From the co-occurrence matrix,a set of parameters can be acquired, including the geomagnetic angle second moment, contast, correlation, entropy, and the deficit torque.Through the analysis of these parameters, the corresponding threshold can be determined when the areas are appropriate for matching. At last, the method is proved to be feasible through the analysis of experimental results.
