  • Establishing the scientific and reasonable velocity figure of the China Continent crust motion is a basic work in recent crust motion research. In this paper, using multitudinous high precision GPS data of crust deformation surveying network established in recent ten years in China, velocity of every GPS station is scientifically and reasonably calculated. Then the China Continent velocity field is established,by using the spherical discontinuous deformation analysis(DDA) model. The velocity field does not only objectively describes the rigidity factor of the crust motion, but also objectively characterizes the inner deformation of the continent. This velocity field model has obvious superiority to the geologic structure velocity model, the discrete point value model, the rigid-body rotation velocity model and the collocation simulation velocity model.
