  • The investigation of the feasibilities associated with the use of gravity observation in vertical deformation analyses has been conducted through the com plete estimates of error effects and obtainable accuracies in gravity observations.Itturns out that the accuracy increase is quite limited by using gravity observation to analyse vertical deformation,if the aim is only to determine point vertical displacement and its velocity. However the trend of vertical deformation can be detected in time with the help of gravimetry to monitor large scale vertical deformation or local drastic ones.
