  • The authors of the present paper have developed a system for processing cloud images from the meterological synchronous satellite based on the microcomputer IBM-PC. Apart from a brief introduction to the system itself, the paper discusses the realization of such functions as sampling and data collection, segregation display, projection transformation and edge plotting. In addition, it presents some special techniques for processing cloud images.
