  • In order to eliminate the shortcomings of traditional methods in multibeam data processing,a kind of new method, which is based on the blend of RTK height signal and heave signal,is presented.Three kinds of methods, which are used for blending the two signals, are researched. They are constrained blend method,signal-processing method with Butterworth filter and FFT spectrum analysis method respectively. For the former two kinds of methods, they can not meet with the requirements of strict time synochronization and maximum magnitide respond in signal processing, thus,FFT spectrum analysis technology is finally introduced, which overcomes the shortcomings of the other two kinds of methods. Finally, the accuracy of signal blending method is discussed with a complicated multibeam surveying experiment. An all-around analysis is done. The below results can be obtained through analysis, comparison and calculation. The signal blending method can achieve standard deviation about 6 cm,and can meet with the requirement of precise projects underwater monitoring seabed/riverbed.
