  • Using crustal deformation observation data with diverse space-time scale, including GPS,long-leveling cross-fault,short-leveling and short-baseline cross-fault,the coseismic response of the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake on 12 May 2008 and its influence on neighborhood are researched. The analysis shows that, the earthquake region displayed remarkable coseismic deformation of thrust and dextral slip, this great earthquake obviously effected the region from eastern segment of boundary between Gansu and Sichuan province to boundary where Gansu,Sichuan and Shaanxi meet, and the southern segment of Xianshuihe fault and the Y-character region where it meet Longmenshan fault and Anninghe fault, mainly reflecting possible enhanced action for strain accumulation,to some degree.
