Generalized Point Photogrammetry Feature Extraction Based on Harris Operator and Vectorization

An improved combined corner and edge detector which introduced a non-local maximum suppression method based on Harris operator is proposed.The extracted edge based on the principal orientation is traced,and the edge for the sake of further storage is vectorized.The experimental results show that the improved Harris operator performed better in feature extraction compared to the original algorithm.The description of the edge with certain mathematical model is beneficial for the further data management and feature matching.
