A Research on the Quantization and Fractal Model for Polygonal Shape Features on Map
By applying the fractal theory,a fractal model of quantizing polygonal shape features on map is proposed.The meaning and formula of the model parameters,which are shape factor and fractal dimension,are also discussed.Thus a new solution for measuring the shape features on map is given.
