CEI-based Orbit Determination of Colocation Geostationary Satellites

  • CEI-based orbit determination precision of colocation geostationary satellites is discussed. The simulation results indicated that baseline array was needed in the orbit determination of colocation geostationary satellites. For 110°E satellites, when Sanya-Kunming baseline array, baseline 10 km in length and 2 d observation data were used, absolute orbit determination precision could reach to magnitude of 100 m,relative precision could reach to magnitude of one meter when the orbit was extrapolated to 14 d,while Kunming-Sanya baseline array, baseline 100 km in length and 1 d observation data for 80°E satellites,Shanghai-Sanya baseline array, baseline 50 km in length and 2 d observation data for 140°E satellites.
