  • In surveying adjustment, the mathematic model consists of function model and stochastic model. The function model consists of classical adjustment model and generalized adjustment model. As we know, parameter adjustment model, parameter adjustment with constraint model, condition adjustment model, condition adjustment with parameter model and condition adjustment with constraint model belong to the classical adjustment model. The filter model and least squares collocation model belong to the generalized adjustment model. To understand the classical adjustment model well Prof. Yu Zongchou has united the classical adjustment model by condition adjustment with constraint model. To unite the classical adjustment model with the generalized adjustment model, this paper presents a comprehensive model of generalized surveying adjustment. It is least squares collocation with constraint model. The comprehensive model not only contains filter model and least squares collocation model, but also contains all the classical models of surveying adjustment, such as parameter adjustment model, parameter adjustment with constraint model, condition adjustment model, condition adjustment with parameter model and condition adjustment with constraint model. At the same time the fact that parameter adjustment model, condition adjustment model, condition adjustment with constraint model and condition adjustment with constraint model are all the special cases of the parameter adjustment with constraint model is proven.
