  • An improved geoid model for Hong Kong,HKGEOID-2000 with 1km resolution,was developed with remove-restore approach and 1D-FFT technique.This geoid model,along with GPS ellipsoidal heights,is employed to determine the errors of the "orthometric heights" from purely trigonometric heighting in Hong Kong,yielding an RMS error of 0.102m and the standard deviation ±3.4cm.
