  • This paper analyzes the prevalent software architecture C/S and B/S in GIS project, takes the software reuse and the requirement of GIS project, lists some components of GIS project, and puts forward a new software architecture in DGIS -multi-layer distributed GIS software architecture model based on objects and components.The software architecture model can improve the extensibility and make the maintain work easier.
