Correlativity Study Between El Niño Phenomenon and Mean Sea Level Abnormal Variations in Equator Pacific Area Using

Mean sea level abnormal variations in equator pacific area are analyzed using cillonear method of along track based on three years (1994, 1996, 1997) of T/P data, two years (1992~1993) of ERS-1 data, two years (1996~1997) of ERS-2 data as well as all Geosat/ERM data. The overall editing criteria for altimetric data are considered and the precision of the geophysical correction models is improved. The results proves the significant correlative relation between El Niño phenomenon and mean sea level abnormal variations.
