  • Wavelet analysis is another powerful mathematical tool after Fourier analysis. Due to the ability in time-frequency localization and the multi-resolution analysis theory, wavelet analysis has numerous useful applications in geodesy. The main progress of these applications made in is last ten years is reviewed in this paper, and then some suggestions for the applications of wavelet to gravity field are presented.
