On Evaluation and Design of Classification for Map Content Using Probability Distribution Functions

摘要: 本文在介绍应用概率分布函数中最基本的正态分布来评价地图内容分级方案合理性的基础上,提出了用正态布原理设计地图内容分级的方法。结合具体实例,在设计过程中采用了两个控制域的方法,並对不等分级间隔采用假设等分级间隔处理,使之更适合普遍应用。最后,以x2分布函数为例,进一步提出了应用其它分布函数设计分级方案的方法,使之符合某些特殊的分级要求。Abstract: This paper introduces and justifies the evaluation of classification using the normal distribution model which is the most fundamental one in the probability distribution functions.Then it puts forward the design method of classifying map content using the principle of normal distribution.In a concrete example,the author adopted two control areas in the course of design and dealt with the non-equal intervals the way for the equal intervals to make it more widely applicable.Finally taking the x2 distribution function as an example,the author further suggested a designing method of classification using other distribution functions to meet the needs of some special classification needs.
