Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of the methods for single band image texture, this paper presents the concept of multispectral texture applying the relativity analysis of local area and the variant characteristics of multi\|dimensional coding to represent the texture characteristics of the different objects. The experiment result has proved that this method is useful for the extraction of the spatial texture with spectral characteristics.
