一种基于分段线性系数变换的编码预处理算法

A Segmental-linear Function Based Pro-codec Processing Algorithm

  • 摘要: 提出了基于分段线性系数变换函数的编码预处理算法,是在基于小波变换的图像压缩方案中量化步骤之后,数据进入编码器进行编码之前,增加了一个使用分段线性函数对高频子带的变换系数进行编码前预处理的步骤。一定程度上克服了高倍率图像压缩在编码过程中小变换系数的丢失较多的问题。实验证明,该算法在主客观质量方面都较解码端高斯纹理信息重建算法出色。

     

    Abstract: The segmental-linear function based pro-codec processing algorithm is proposed.The algorithm deals the small coefficients with segmental-linear function before their going to codec machine.Instead of abandoning many small coefficients which represent the texture,it distorts the big coefficients slightly.Experiment shows that compared with the way of rebuilding texture by the Gauss compensation algorithm,its representation in both PSNR and subjective effect is better.
