A Dynamic Monitoring Approach for Component Security Testing

A dynamic monitoring approach named CSDM(component security dynamic monitoring)was proposed for the security testing of COM(component object model) component.In addition,related monitoring algorithms including function parameters monitoring and exceptions monitoring algorithms were also presented as a part of CSDM.A dynamic monitoring system of component security testing was designed and implemented based on CSDM.Some experiments were done by using some typical commercial components to verify the applicabilities of proposed approach.The experimental results show that CSDM can effectively monitor related security testing information of the tested component.
