Spatial Correlation Analysis of Attractiveness of Commercial Facilities

The spatial relationship of commercial facilities' attractiveness in an area is an important indicator for facility location choice and related analyses.Using taxi trajectory data in Wuhan city,we obtain the attractiveness of each commercial facility by applying weighted two step floating catchment area method.By conducting both global and local auto-correlation analysis,we find that commercial facility attractiveness has distinct spatial clustering character.And the attractiveness of those facilities that locate in hot business areas represent strongly positive spatial auto-correlation characteristic,which is consistent with the practical situation.The study results can be adopted in facility location analysis,urban planning and traffic analysis as well.
