  • Considering the needs of 3D GIS,a water simulation method for large area irregular riverway is accomplished,in which we study a comprehensive method of LOD method for water simulation in large area, scene data organization and scheduling, water surface modeling method as well as simulation methods of water surface reflection, water wave and dynamic water high lights. The application to Jinsha River hydrologic and sediment information system show the feasibility of the method.
