  • This paper proposes a fuzzy-neural model applied to land suitability evaluation. There are some intractable problems in applying fuzzy system to land suitability evaluation. For example, the membership functions and rules of fuzzy evaluation system have no self-adjusting ability. Sometime the system even has too many rules to act when it is a multi-input system. In this paper, the model of fuzzy neural network is designed for land suitability evaluation. This model is the result of mixing fuzzy system and artificial neural network.
