  • This paper introduces the absolute gravity determinations carried out by the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences using the FG5 absolute gravitmeter at 26 fundamental stations of the Chinese Crustal Movement Observation Network. The accuracies of absolute gravity determinations in two campaigns are given, which can meet the technical quality requirements (less than 5×10-8 ms-2).The reasons of the lower observational accuracy at few sites are analyzed and some suggestions for the absolute gravity observations in future work are put forward.
