High Precision Vertical Pendulum Tiltmeter for Measuring Earth Tide

  • This paper aims at the request of detectinging and measuring the earth tide, introduces the composing and principle of high precision vertical pendulum tiltmeter and discusses in detail the application of the differential capacity micrometry sensor to the vertical pendulum tiltmeter. The spatial many-body center configuration theory is applied to design the mechanical structure of the tiltmeter, and the complicated double pendulum theory is applied to analyze the kinetic characteristic of pendulum. Furthermore, this paper presents a calibration method of vertical pendulum tiltmeter using static electricity.
