  • This paper integrates cellular automata (CA) with grey situation decision transition rules to simulate land use conversions in the Hongshan District, a rural-urban fringe in Wuhan City. Then a satisfied result has been obtained. It reveals that this model can efficiently simulate land use conversions at both microscopic level and macroscopic level.
