Applications of Mathematical Morphology in GIS Spatial Analysis
This paper discusses applications of mathematical morphology in GIS spatial analysis. The new method based on morphological transformations is presented, which includes overlay, buffering, proximity, measurement as well as optimum route of network and visibility analysis.
