On Measuring Complexity of Digital Curves and Separating Stochastic Part from Trend Movement of Digitizing Process

After tile digitizing process,cartographic curves become broken lines,which are called digital curves.The complexity of the digital curves could be measured by their curvature.Separation of stochastic part from trend movement of digitizing process could be realized by using the spline approximating approach.Validity check of this method has been conducted by employing several curves with different curvatures.
