  • This paper discusses the differences between bsckflow model and squeeze model, which are two typical tectonic evolution models in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, presented by geophysical and geological communities in recent years. The principle and method for checking these models with geodetic data are given. The check has been conducted by using real data.It turns out that the backflow model is more reasonable than the other one in the sense of dynamic mechanisms of tectonic evolution in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.
