A Multifractal Analysis Method for Image Texture

This paper develops a multifractal analysis method based on the newly proposed theory of multifractal in fractal geometry,and achieves multiresolution analysis of image texture.The method proposed can give much more fractal information from different aspects,express local fractal dimension of image textrue and restrain the phenomenon of same fractal dimension with different fractals which exists in current methods.Although fractal dimension is an important texture feature,it cannot capture all the information of image textute.
