Zoom Theory of the Optical System for Laser Beam

On the basis of the feature of Gaussinn beam propagation and transformation,the zoom feature of the optical system for laser beam is invotigated on the expansion of the Gaussian bracket. To the mechanically compensated zoom system for laser beam,the zoom equation and the Compensation equation are derived. Finally,a practical example is given.
