Application of Object-oriented Semantic Data Model to the Spatial Database
Tranditional database systems can only deal with alphanumeric data. It is difficult for them to process complicated spatial data such as geographical data. Objct-oriented approach-es have many advantages and are used for spatial data base more and more. This paper disscuss-es object-oriented semantic date model at first and introduces to an object-oriented spatial ex-perimental system spobase.
