The Developing of Matrix Band in Ni002 Invariable Levelling Staff

The whole preceed in which Ni002 invariable levelling staff's matris hand is re-searched and manufactured is recounted and analysed in detail in this article. It includes de-signing and making die with which the rectangle holes can be made,making holes at the ma-trix band with the mould, inspecting results of error of levelling staff's carving marks that made of matrix band though copy with spraying lacquer,also worked out the error of copy and matrix using this result. Meanwhile, it is specilly pointed that the rank mathod of positive and negative marks of interval deviation of the mould working parts which can be used to make holes infects the testing results of the levelling staff,and it had been verified in prac-tice.
