Computer Aided Urban Traffic Planning for Xiangfan City

Urban traffic planning is an important task in urban master planning.Based on traffic engineering theory and taken advantage of the large capacity and high-speed computer,the statistics and analysis of present traffic data,prediction of traffic volume in the future and optimization of the planning roadnek are carried out by the authors in Xiangfan urban master planning.These provide decision-making foundation for urban traffic planning,determing the direction of urban development and land-use lay-out.Therefore,the urban master planning is deepened,and the quality of urban planning is improved.
