A Study on the Influence of Initial Data Errors on the Accuracy of Alignment Points in Engineering Surveys

  • This paper deals with the influence of initial data errors on accuracy of alignment points in engineering surveys on the basis of paper3. Firstly, the forms and characteristics of initial data errors in construction control networks, as well as laws of their propagation are discussed. Matrix representation of their influence on the accuracies of the relative position of alignment points are established. Based. upon the above the degrees of their influence are analysed and calculated for some common alignment methods, The results indicate ther more attention should be paid to the influence of initial data errors in setting up surveys. Some suggests are given.
