  • This paper present an automatic monitor system which an "intelligence" safety-facility with the functions of an audio-image nonitor and realtime alarm. The signals coming from the front-end detector-sampling device can be detected by the system's multiplexor and monitored via the interface unit in many parallel ways. Each of the alarm signals is tested in a real-time manner. As soon as an alarm signal occurs, the system responds to it, and records the related data automatically, switching to the alarm channel to bring about the monitor of the alarming scene all the monitoring terminals bearing the same code number, e.g. CRT-display 2, vediorecorder 2, tape recorder 2, etc. To ensure the performance/cost, practicality and reliability, some effective techniques are employed. As a result of the optimized, compressed, modularzed software for the system and the trade-off between the hardware and the software, the system can work in any way within 32 terminals belonging to 4 type in a TP-801, a single-board micro processor.
