An Optical Multi-Channel Correlation Technique

This paper introduces a technique of real-time optical multi-channel correlation, which is achieved by using a specially designed dichromated-gelatin multi-focus holographic lens as a space-variant optical element. In addition, it describes the principles for designing such lens and the methhod for making it ns well as its working principles in the multi-image correlation system and some experimental results obtained from the system.
