Application of Precise Point Positioning for Island Control Survey

Applying precise point positioning(PPP)technology to island control surveys without ground base stations was implemented by estimating static PPP accuracy and convergence speed with the length of observation data and data interval.The results show that static PPP accuracy can be achieved mm to the cm degree of IUS station. Horizontal accuracy is smaller than lcm and vertical accuracy is better than 3cm. In addition，we obtained tthe interval and convergence time for use in control surveys with static PPP method. An example is investigated to verify the validity and practicability of the proposed methos for island control surveys in comparison with GAMIT/GLOBK results.
