Abstract
Aiming to meet the requirements for efficient rendering for large-scale,high-density,com-plex 3Dmodels in a 3Dvirtual globe,a GPU rendering-oriented data structure of 3Dmodel data is de-signed.Secondly,a render to texture and multi-scale visualization method for GPU-based rendering isproposed.Finally,using these methods,a GeoGlobe-based experiment is tested and discussed.
