Analysis of 1∶50 000 Database Content Survey Results

As to the content refinement of national fundamental geographical information system (NFGIS; 1∶50 000 DLG database, this paper conducts a user survey through questionnaires to collect users’ requirements on NFGIS database, such as data contents and attributes information. The survey results are summarized and analyzed by adopting statistical methods. Three alternatives are derived from the statistical results, and one alternative is selected for the reference of the content refinement of NFGIS database.
