Destination Choice Based on Space-Time Prisms and Attracting Ratios of Different Activity Opportunity Establishments

Abstract
The manipulation definitions of space-time prism within a GIS are discussed,the formula for calculating attracting ratios of the establishments is offered by analyzing the affecting factors of destination choice.The parameters estimation of the formula can use least-squares estimation(LSE) by use of the pratical survey data in research area which are grouped according to activity sorts and people behavior characteristics.The system based on the destination choice model is developed in MAPGIS environment.That is tested by a shopping case in a small zone belonged to Ningbo city.
