A Path Planning Algorithm Based on Typical Case Reasoning

  • Case-based reasoning is a method which helps people to solve the problem with the past experience.People are used to guiding themselves according to those routes storing in their memories.Just basing on people's preference to familiar routes,which is gained through the study of the cognitive activities.A method that applies this intelligent typical case-based reasoning to path planning is put forward.Combined with the knowledge about the road network,typical cases are defined and used to solve the problem.The experimental result shows that this path-planning algorithm can reduce the search space,speed up the progress of searching and satisfy people's preferences of running on the road they are familiar with.
