  • The progress in geographic information standardization at home and abroad is reviewed.The result shows that both international and national standardization organizations are all focusing more and more on standardization of geographic information services,instead of geographic data.Based on the comparison analysis,the countermeasures on working mechanism and theoretical content deployment of national geographic information standardization are suggested.
