  • Spatial correlation is an important species of spatial relation.Aiming at elements of categorical maps,the method for calculating the spatial correlations under certain positional and uncertain positional circumstances is edaced.The basic idea is using the difference of relative superposition degree under the realistic distribution and stochastic distribution to express the correlative degree.It is shown that the method can effectively express the whole and local spatial correlation between the elements of categorical maps.
